With the situation surrounding COVID-19 continuing to evolve worldwide, we wanted to reassure you that NIHON KASETSU is closely monitoring the situation to guarantee a minimal amount of disruption to our business.

We are doing everything we possibly can to keep our own people safe, both in our Japan headquarters and overseas in our European branch. This includes measures for part of our team to be able to work from home if necessary. The preparatory work we have done in recent weeks means that the amount of disruption to our customers caused by home-working, where applicable, will be minimal.

In terms of our deliveries, sterilization methods are being used on items sent to our customers, and our service team is using PPEs to ensure that all equipment is sent sterile and clean.

In recent weeks we reinforced our stocks both in Japan and in Europe. We also assured with our suppliers and partners that there are no issues with component procurement, so we do not envisage any significant delays in our supply chain.

As an organisation, we have taken the decision to review international travel on a case-by-case basis, trying to replace travels by conference calls whenever possible. Nevertheless, as the situation is ever-changing, this decision may be reviewed and revised at a later date.

There’s no denying that probably the next few weeks or even months are going to be challenging globally. But we are confident that there will be a minimal amount of disruption to our business.

So, in terms of our relationship with you, we foresee it as being business as usual.

Please feel free to contact a member of the NIHON KASETSU team should you have any questions or concerns.
